In 2019 alone, 18.1 million cosmetic surgeries were performed nationwide, and each year there seems to be a steady increase. If you were thinking of receiving some guidance on your beauty goals, 2020 might have thrown your plans out the window with Covid. With everything starting to settle back down again, why not think about that next beauty procedure? If you’ve been interested in a nano fat transfer, there’s no better time. And if you’re interested in newer regenerative medicine, the Lypo-Gold Method taught by Elite Aesthetics Institute may be another option for you. Read on to find out more about each procedure and how they can benefit you.

Fat Transfer

Many procedures these days revolve around the transferring of fat from one location of your body to another, to help fill in those imperfections on your body. As you age, your skin loses its elasticity and collagen production fades with each passing year, so your skin starts to droop, sag, and fine lines and wrinkles start to appear. Skin rejuvenation can be achieved through nano and micro fat transfer, which helps build and plump up your skin, while boosting collagen and nerve and skin tissue regeneration. These fat transfers can reshape your skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and add volume to the face in the temple areas or hollow cheeks. It can also volumize your lips, treat tear troughs, the dark circles under your eyes, and even the nose in place of some fillers for non-surgical rhinoplasty.

Nano Fat Transfer

The words “nano” and “micro” refer to the very small particles of fat that are blended and used to treat the defined contours of the face. This fat is taken from certain areas of your body, usually the hips, thighs or belly region, and is then processed to separate the fat from other fluids. The result is a smooth liquid concentration of fat particles, which is then reinjected into the targeted areas of your body where you want results, using an ultra-fine, hollow needle. Since the procedure is relatively quick, some medical offices will also offer other beauty procedures while you undergo a fat transfer treatment as well, such as a neck lift or brow lift. Facial swelling and bruising usually resolves within a few weeks, and there may be some mild to moderate bruising and soreness on the area where the fat was removed, but that should also subside within 7-10 days. You may or may not require additional treatments to achieve the results you are hoping to gain. Your doctor can help you navigate what is best for your body and your beauty results, but most clients receive anywhere from one to four treatments. Results can last upwards of a few years if multiple treatments were received, giving you years of beauty ahead.

The Lypo-Gold Method

This procedure is very similar to a nano or micro fat transfer as there is also an extraction of a small amount of fat from your body, usually around the thigh or belly. These fat cells are “processed” to leave behind just the adult stem cells, which are highly regenerative and can boost collagen and hyaluronic acid production in the body. These stem cells are injected into targeted areas of the face and body, to produce firmer, plumper and more youthful looking skin. This is a more natural process as well, while still leaving you with results and a minimally-invasive procedure. Lypo-Gold is used for treating fine lines and wrinkles, tear troughs, brow lift, cheek lift, temple, jawline, smoker’s lines, as well as alopecia, hand wrinkles and neck wrinkles.
